Konstantin Vorontsov, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s deputy director for arms control and nuclear proliferation issues, cautioned on Tuesday against the possibility of a direct military battle between his nation and NATO as a result of US arms sales.
These cautions followed the announcement by Washington that it will give Kyiv $625 million more in military supplies as part of a package that also includes advanced missile systems (HIMARS), which are credited with giving the Ukrainian army a boost in its conflict with Russian soldiers.
