Moscow: Washington’s arming of Kiev is pushing us into direct conflict with NATO

News from Al-Madina The Russian Foreign Ministry declared that these supplies bring the direct military conflict between Russia and NATO, even as the United States continues to send military help to Kyiv.
Konstantin Vorontsov, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s deputy director for arms control and nuclear proliferation issues, affirmed that NATO and Russia are moving closer to a direct military confrontation as a result of US arms sales to Ukraine.

According to the Russian “TASS” news agency, Vorontsov stated at the meeting of the First Committee of the United Nations General Assembly that “the United States is increasing the supply of weapons to Ukraine, providing its army with intelligence information, and ensuring the direct participation of its fighters and advisers in the crisis.”

He emphasised that a direct conflict with NATO “not only prolongs hostilities and causes further losses, but also moves the situation closer to the perilous line of direct armed conflict between Russia and NATO.”
This occurred as the US today revealed intentions to give Ukraine an additional $625 million in military aid, part of which includes a cutting-edge missile system that has been credited with giving the Ukrainian military an advantage in its conflict with Russia.

In a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, US President Joe Biden discussed the current package, which includes a high-mobility missile system (HIMARS), ammo for artillery systems, and armoured vehicles.
On Tuesday, the call included Kamala Harris, the vice president.

The two presidents spoke as the upper house of the Russian parliament formally approved today the annexation of parts of Ukrainian territory, after referendums that Ukraine and its Western allies described as sham.
It is noteworthy that this round of military aid is the first time that the United States has sent an additional HIMARS system to Ukraine since late July.

This technique has evolved into a crucial instrument for Ukraine’s capacity to attack the supply bridges that Russia utilised to supply its soldiers, allowing Ukrainian forces to advance into Russian-controlled territory.
Four more HIMARS systems are included in the most recent supplies, increasing the total number provided to Ukraine to 20. Arabic
