In the third round of Group C in the group stage of the 2022–2023 European Champions League, Group C opponents Bayern Munich and Viktoria Plzen met at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night after Bayern Munich’s decisive 5-0 victory over its Czech opponent.
Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, and Sadio Mane each scored once for Bayern in the first half—at the seven, thirteen, and twenty-first minutes, respectively.
Leros Sane added his team’s second and fourth goals in the second half around the 50-minute mark, while substitute Chubu Moting added the team’s fifth goal in the 59th minute.

With this outcome, Bayern Munich extends its lead over the third group with 9 points and continues to dominate the Champions League group stage.
Viktoria Plzen, on the other hand, holds the final spot in the group without a point total, while Barcelona and Inter Milan hold the second and third spots, respectively, with 3 points apiece.
