The Jordanian index closes lower amid profit-taking

Due to minimal profits-taking in popular stocks like Arab Bank following three straight sessions of gains despite persistently low liquidity, the Jordanian stock market declined today, Monday.
The trading value for the general index of shares was 3. 5 million dinars (4. 9 million dollars), down from 3. 7 million dinars in the previous session. The general index of shares finished down by 0. 2% at 2481. 58 points.
Jordan Steel’s part decreased by 2. 94% to 0, and the Petroleum Refinery’s portion dropped by 0. 51% to 5. 82 dinars.

The Arab Bank share decreased by 0. 22% to 4. 64 dinars, and 33 dinars.
Shares of Housing Bank increased 1.65% to 3. 7 dinars.

Due to profit-taking, the Jordanian index closes lower.
