The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, represented by the General Administration of Social Services, introduced the “May our eyes be with you” initiative on the occasion of the International Day of the Arab Child.

According to a statement made by the Saudi Embassy in Cairo, Saud bin Attia Al-Zahrani, Director General of the General Administration of Social Services, said that this was being done out of a sense of social responsibility to offer all services and facilities that would benefit them, their parents, and their companions. This included taking care of them when they arrived at the Grand Mosque and giving them wristbands and directional symbols so they wouldn’t get lost in the crowd.

He continued by saying that the Department of the Young Visitor Service aims to pay attention to the category of the young visitor and the elderly non-Arabic speaking category and to enhance their experience with the cognitive, cultural, and social aspects by giving them wristbands, providing guiding symbols for the young and elderly non-Arabic speakers to avoid their loss during crowding in the Grand Mosque, and giving them souvenirs in celebration of the International Day of the Young Visitor.
