Agency: Biden administration pressures Europeans to increase support for Ukraine

Al-Madina News: According to “Bloomberg” agency, US Vice President Joe Biden’s administration is exerting pressure on the European Union to support Ukraine more actively, particularly with regard to the control of the amount of monthly financial aid that is provided to Kiev.
According to sources cited by the news organisation, “the United States is prepared to provide financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $1. 5 billion a month during the conflict with Russia and is working to fulfil the commitment of its European allies to allocate similar amounts.”

The Biden administration demands additional assistance from Europe for Ukraine.
The temporary budget, which includes increased financial help to Ukraine in the amount of $12. 4 billion, was earlier signed into law by US President Joe Biden. The World Bank and the United States reportedly provided 8.5 billion dollars in aid to Ukraine beginning with the start of the Russian special military operation in that country, according to prior media reports.
