In light of Hurricane Ian’s extensive damage in Florida and the loss of scores of US citizens, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a message of sorrow to US President Joe Biden on Sunday.
According to the Indian channel NDTV, Modi conveyed his heartfelt sorrow for the hurricane’s toll on innocent lives as well as his sympathies for the American people.
In addition, Hurricane “Ian” brought flooding due to torrential rains, which resulted in significant destruction in “Florida” specifically, killing at least 72 people.
