Two more people charged with complicity in the assassination attempt on Argentine Vice President

After two other persons were charged with the attempted assassination of Argentine Vice President Cristina Kirchner, a man and a woman were formally accused with involvement in the crime, according to court documents released on Saturday.
Agustina Diaz, 21, and Gabriel Carrizo, 27, the head of the “Cubetos” (girls’ fawning) gang, were both found guilty and sentenced to pay 100 million pesos by Judge Maria Eugenia Cappuchetti.

They were detained together with Fernando Sapag-Montel, 35, and Brenda Olliarte, 23, who were charged with “attempted murder” in writing two weeks ago.
Sapag Montell, Oliarte, Carrizo, and Diaz, the four defendants, “it turns out that they had a collective plan to kill the vice president,” the judge said in a document that was made public in Argentine newspapers on Saturday.

She stated that on April 22, the day Brenda Olliarty bought the “semi-automatic handgun” used in the attack, preparations for Kirchner’s murder started.
At the time of the attack, Sabag was chatting to a group of Kirchner’s supporters when he aimed a revolver at her roughly one metre from her head. The bullets did not fire for an unspecified reason, despite the fact that the weapon was a 7.

Despite being loaded and in fine condition, the 65-caliber Persa pistol at the store appeared to be empty.
Tens of thousands of people protested the attack on Kirchner, 69, a prominent leftist who is still active in politics in Argentina seven years after leaving office. The incident shocked the nation.
Both the administration and the opposition were accused of fomenting “hatred” in the air.

Two more people have been accused of participating in the attempt to kill the Argentine Vice President.
