Following Prime Minister Lise Truss’ objection, The Sunday Times reported on Saturday night that King Charles III will not attend the COP 27 meeting that is set to take place in Egypt in November.
The British newspaper reported that the newly crowned monarch, an environmentalist who had replaced his mother, Elizabeth II, was going to speak at the next climate summit (November 6–18).

Nevertheless, at a one-on-one meeting with the monarch in September at Buckingham Palace, Truss obstructed and disputed his goals.
The news arrives while the nation is in upheaval following the prime minister’s budget statements, which she made less than a month after taking office.
Some worry that TRACE would pull out of its climate change promises.

The final straw was the introduction of a measure last week that would change or remove hundreds of environmental protection rules that the United States inherited from the European Union by the end of 2023.
Numerous ministers in the Terrace government also have doubts about the necessity of achieving carbon neutrality as required by the Paris Agreement.
The Sunday Times reports that the prime minister won’t be at the 27th CUP in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Charles III won’t attend the COP 27 summit in Egypt because Liz Truss objected to him going.
