Xavi surpasses Zidane in the number of consecutive away victories in La Liga

In the matchup that pitted Barcelona against Real Mallorca on Saturday night at the “Iberostar” stadium, in the seventh round of the Spanish League for the current season 2022–2023, Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez established a record in the Spanish League.

And according to the “Opta” statistics network, Xavi Hernandez beat Zinedine Zidane’s record of not losing outside of the stadium, which was set by the former Real Madrid coach, to achieve a notable figure after the win.
Outside the Camp Nou, Xavi helped Barcelona go unbeaten in 18 straight La Liga games, beating Zidane’s record of 17 victories.

In the 20th minute of the game, Barcelona’s top forward Robert Lewandowski scored after dribbling past a Real Mallorca defender and firing a hard shot to the left of the goalie.
With 19 points, Barcelona momentarily took the lead atop the Spanish league standings, one point ahead of Real Madrid, who finished second and will play Osasuna on Sunday.

In terms of consecutive away victories in La Liga, Xavi outpaces Zidane.
