Under the patronage of King Salman, Riyadh hosts the Saudi Games

The first Saudi Games will take place in the Saudi capital of Riyadh from November 27th through the 7th, under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
The tournament’s opening ceremony, which is the biggest in the Arab world in terms of the number of participants and the sum of awards that will be given to the top finishers, will take place at the King Fahd International Stadium.

Through qualifiers and performance trials, the Saudi Games gave more than 20,000 male and female athletes the chance to compete. Additionally, the course will see the participation of more than 6,000 athletes and 2,000 technical and administrative supervisors from more than 200 clubs across Saudi Arabia, in addition to the group of people who will compete under the banner of the Olympic and Paralympic Committee. The participants in the competition compete for the greatest awards in the history of the area, with a total of more than 200 million riyals, in 45 individual and team sports, including 5 games specifically designed for Paralympic sports.
