US Fed member: We are satisfied with raising interest rates

Thomas Barkin, a member of the US Federal Reserve, stated that the US Federal Reserve will not declare victory until all inflation has been eliminated and that it will continue to tighten monetary policy.
In press statements, Barkin emphasised that although the Fed is content with rising interest rates, it would be wise for it to exert more effort until inflation falls.

However, it might take some time for these indicators to show up in economic data, according to Barkin, who also said that the US Federal Reserve faces a difficult choice in determining the appropriate level of interest and when to cease hiking interest rates.

US Fed official: We are content with increasing interest rates.
