The Guardian: Dozens of rallies planned across Britain to protest high energy prices

The British publication The Guardian announced today that dozens of marches are scheduled to take place in conjunction with the implementation of the 150 billion pound energy price, from Plymouth in the southwest of the country to Aberdeen in the northeast.

The newspaper explained that the rallies are planned by numerous organisations by saying that “the government’s 150 billion pound energy price guarantee into effect would allow typical home costs to reach 2500 pounds a year, up from 1971 pounds.” Societal and labour unions are attempting to influence the British government as much as possible.

In response to a wave of protests about the expense of living brought on by an increase in the price of gas and electricity, protesters are expected to burn their utility bills in Birmingham, Bradford, Brighton, and London. It will likely be the largest nationwide rally against the crisis, according to the organisers. Workers in the financial, postal, and rail sectors also go on strike.
