“Russian athletes who have disassociated themselves from the special military operation in Ukraine should be permitted to participate international competitions in a neutral scenario,” said Thomas Bach, the president of the International Olympic Committee, in an interview published on Friday.
The deputy prime minister of Russia said that Russian athletes are patriots and will never betray their nation.
