Reports: KAF withdraws the organization of the 2025 African Nations from Guinea

According to press sources, the Executive Committee of the African Confederation (CAF) cancelled Guinea’s bid to host the 2025 African Nations Cup due to the country’s unpreparedness.
The Executive Committee of CAF voted to pull the organising of the 2025 African Nations from Guinea, and the application process to host the event will begin in the next days, according to the website “sportnewsafrica.”

The report also stated that the Executive Committee chose to dispatch a delegation to Guinea in order to tell the country of the African Union’s choice to not have Guinea host the 2025 African Cup of Nations. According to the study, South Africa and Morocco were the two most likely candidates to host the tournament in place of Guinea.
