The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported the destruction of the US “HIMARS” missile launcher unit near Nikolaev as well as the destruction of the Ukrainian “Grom-2” and “Tochka-O” missile assembly facilities close to the city of Dnepropetrovsk in central Ukraine.
In a statement quoted by the “Russia Today” channel today, Friday, Russian Defense Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said: “The Russian armed forces are continuing their war in Ukraine and through high-precision strikes, they managed to destroy the Ukrainian ballistic and tactical missile assembly workshops (Grom-2 and).” Toshka O) close to the industrial district close to the eastern car assembly factory.
The spokesman added that in the Kramatorsk neighbourhood of Donetsk, missile strikes on the points of temporary deployment of units of the 81st Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and a missile and defensive armament of the 80th Offensive Brigade resulted in the death of up to 200 people, the destruction of 23 pieces of military gear, and the accumulation of more than 30 tonnes of artillery and missile ammunition.
Along with missile and artillery forces, tactical aviation and army aviation also destroyed artillery units of the 128th offensive brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 121st regional defence brigade in the vicinity of the Oskorovka towns. These units belonged to the 26th and 59th infantry brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. There are 61 artillery units, soldiers, and military hardware in 148 places in the Kherson region, Fremivka in Donetsk, the 93rd Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and Redkodub in Donetsk.
Konashenkov added that two field stations for refuelling the 93rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ equipment in the Redkodub town area in Donetsk, as well as six weapons, missile, and ammunition depots, were destroyed close to the towns of Miaki in Donetsk, Legino in Zaporozhye Territory, Pavlograd and Kolomytsevo in Dnipropetrovsk Territory, and Nikolaye
According to the ministry spokesman, a mobile electronic intelligence unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed nearby the town of Chervony Stav in the Nikolaev region after a precise strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces, and while repelling the attacks in Nikolayev, a battery of US-made HIMARs missile launch systems was hit and an aircraft was destroyed.
In the vicinity of Ternovyi-Bode in the Nikolaev region, a second Su-25 was utilised by Russian air defence methods, and a Ukrainian MiG-29 was shot down by Russian fighter jets in the vicinity of Klishivka in the Donetsk region.
In the cities of Uruginoye in the Kherson region, Svatovo and Vladimirovka in Lugansk, Petrovskoye in Donetsk, and Novoygorovka in the Kharkov region, the Russian air defence troops also shot down 5 drones.
Over Novaya Kahovka in the Kherson region, two American “Harem” anti-radar missiles were launched.
309 aircraft, 155 helicopters, 2,112 drones, 377 anti-aircraft systems, 5,153 armoured battle vehicles, 856 rocket launchers, 3440 artillery and mortars, as well as 5,988 units of special military vehicles have all been destroyed since the start of the Russian conflict in Ukraine.
