$73 billion trade deficit in Turkey in 8 months

According to figures from the Turkish Statistical Authority and the Ministry of Trade, Turkey had a trade deficit of more than 73 billion dollars from January to August of this year.
The figures showed that exports climbed by 18.2% from the start of the year to the end of August, reaching 165 billion and 608 million dollars, while imports saw an increase of 40%.

According to today’s, Friday, Turkish Anadolu Agency report, 7%, or 239 billion and 43 million dollars, were earned.
According to the figures, the trade deficit for the same time increased by 146.3% to 73 billion and 435 million dollars.

In 8 months, Turkey’s trade imbalance reached $73 billion.
