According to WION, citing his Truth Social, Donald Trump, the former US president, has expressed a readiness to mediate discussions between Moscow and how.
Trump added that a peace pact between Russia and Ukraine was necessary, saying: “Both parties require and desire this. There’s a lot on the line.” Then he questioned Trump about leading the negotiating team.
The plan of the former US president has not yet received a response from Moscow or Kiev.
The essence of the goals of the special military operation still stand, according to the president’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who also emphasised that Russia is still willing to dialogue with Ukraine.
Trump states his desire to act as a mediator between Kiev and Moscow.
