Al -Balad Library hosts the launching and signing ceremony of the novel “Taha, who saw” by the writer Hamdi Al -Batran, recently published by Dar Kalima Publishing, discussed by Dr. Ahmed Mujahid, Professor of Arabic Literature, and Dr. Mohamed Afifi, Professor of History, and the meeting is managed by journalist writer Wael Lutfi, editor -in -chief of Al -Dustour newspaper, on a day Wednesday 30 November, at seven in the evening.

Hamdi Al -Batran said that the novel monitors developments in Taha Hussein’s intellectual position and his battles after the battle of a book in pre -Islamic poetry and during his assumption of the administration of Alexandria University and the Ministry of Education, and even his long journey of Hajj in 1955, the novel also monitors Taha Hussein’s relationship with his son Mounes, professor of French literature with the literature of Cairo, and whoever He immigrated to France ten years before his father left, as well as his relationship with his daughter, Amina and his wife, Susan, who formed an immortal love story in his life and left in her hands.
