Dar Sotheby is preparing for global auctions, to start an auction for old sculpture and artwork, next December 6. This sale is led by two sculptures that embody great rulers from ancient times.
Among the exhibits is a broiler of the Assyrian gypsum, which was completed by the well-known Assyrian king, Tokolti Ninorta I (about 1233-1197 BC) along with an amazing bust of the Roman marble of Emperor Antonius Pius.
These important works are joined by a variety of Egyptian sculptures of stone, Al -Qishani and Bronz, along with a group of Greek vases.
