Polish Defense Minister: We asked Germany to send Patriot missile launch platforms to Ukraine

Polish Defense Minister Marius Blachchk said that he asked Germany to send Patriot missile launchers, originally displayed on Poland, to Ukraine.
“After more Russian missile attacks, I asked Germany to transfer Patriot batteries shown on Poland to Ukraine and deploy them on its western borders . . . this will protect Ukraine from more deaths and power outages and will enhance security on our borders. Eastern”.

On Monday, Blachchk stated that Warsaw and Berlin agreed to transfer additional Patriot air defense systems from Germany and deploy them near the border of Poland with Ukraine.
Blachchk wrote, at the time, in a tweet on Twitter, that he spoke with German Defense Secretary Christine Labbrecht and “reaffirmed Germany’s willingness to deploy Patriot missile launchers near the border with Ukraine.

Berlin showed these systems to Warsaw in the wake of a missile attack last week that hit a Polish village located only 6 kilometers from the border with Ukraine, killing two civilians..
