US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed today, Tuesday, that the United States will continue to support Lebanon, on the 79th anniversary of its independence.
“On behalf of the United States of America, I submit my best wishes to the Lebanese people after their independence. ”
He continued: “The Lebanese are famous for their rich and vital culture,” noting that the United States is aware of flexibility during the past 79 years in the face of a series of serious challenges.
The US Secretary of State added that the United States will continue to stand up to the Lebanese people in their ambition towards a better future.
