The writer Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nassef, head of the Central Administration of the Awards series of the Supreme Council of Culture, said that the jury of the Naguib Mahfouz competition is now examining advanced novels.
Mohamed Abdel Hafez, in exclusive statements for the seventh day, said that the competition is presented to the competition nearly 100 Egyptian novels and twenty Arabic novels.
Mohamed Abdel Hafat pointed out that the jury of the Naguib Mahfouz competition is made up of 12 members who are currently examining and assessing the first examination, adding that with the start of the New Year 2023, the winner will be announced in the competition in the Egyptian and Arabic novel.
Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nassef, the prize value is 75,000 pounds for the best Egyptian novel, 75,000 pounds for the best Arabic novel, and the award is awarded for the best published novels that were issued during the years 2020/2021 for Egyptians and Arabs residing abroad.
It was one of the general conditions of the award, * The contestant should not advance the same novel to another competition until the results of the competition were announced.
* The novel should not have received a prize in other competitions.
* The contestant offers four copies of the novel + version (PDF).
* The work is not recovered after examining them.
* The applicant must go to the competitions management at the headquarters of the Supreme Council of Culture to fill the competition form and deliver:
1- A printed brief biography.
2- A photo of the national ID card or a copy of the passport (for the Arabs)..
