Tunisian Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Naela Nawira Al -Qanji, said that her country has a vision to create a free Francophone economic zone.
This came during the participation of the Minister, today, Monday, in a symposium on “Economic Opportunities in the Francophone Space” within the economic forum of the Francophone countries, whose work was launched yesterday evening on the island of Djerba, on the sidelines of the 18th summit of Francovy, which concluded its activities yesterday.

The minister added that Tunisia can, through its various relations with the province of “Quebec” in Canada and the Tunisian institutions there, can enter the European and American markets through Canada, which are combined with two continents with important free exchange agreements.

The Minister reviewed the vision of Tunisia and her capabilities in what is known as “value chains”, noting the importance of her country’s geographic location on the international map, and the abundance of high -level labor.

She added that the economic forum is an opportunity to restore Tunisia its position in the field of investment development and sign partnership contracts in several fields, including the manufacture of car components, weaving, energy and digitization, adding that Tunisia has been able to develop many projects of this kind on its territory, and also in other sectors, including the sectors of technology and the green economy And green hydrogen..
