Within the framework of the “History and Antiquities Committee” interest in the Supreme Council of Culture, in cooperation with the Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo and the UNESCO Regional Office for Sciences in the Arab countries in Cairo in the arts of Islamic civilization, which represents a tributary of the tributaries of human civilization, the symposium of Islamic arts in the world cultural heritage is covered.
And organized by the History and Antiquities Committee, at exactly ten o’clock next Wednesday at the Museum of Islamic Art.
The symposium comes under the patronage of Dr. Nevin Al -Kilani, Minister of Culture, and Dr. Hisham Azmi – Secretary -General of the Supreme Council of Culture; And Dr. Ola Al -Ajezi – Rapporteur of the History and Antiquities Committee, Dr. Mamdouh Othman: Director of the Museum of Islamic Art – Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism, Dr.
Martino Melly: Representative of the UNESCO Regional Office for Science in Arab Countries in Cairo, and Dr. Noria Sanz: representative of the UNESCO Regional Office for Science in Arab countries.
It is worth noting that the Central Administration of the People and Cultural Committees of the Supreme Council of Culture, headed by the writer Mohamed Nassef, issued the book “The Climate and its Impact on Agriculture in Egypt” written by Dr. Abla Abdel Rahman Al -Sheikh.
The book deals with the subject of the climate of Egypt and its impact on agriculture in Egypt, where the climate contributes to a major and effective role in the productivity of crops, especially in light of the climate fluctuations and the current challenges, so the climatic and environmental conditions must be taken into account; Hence, it affects the productivity of crops in quantity and quality, especially the cotton crop; Where the cultivation of Egyptian cotton is important at a place at the local and global levels; But in the recent period, he witnessed a decrease to its lowest levels – whether it is in terms of vastness of acre, kidney production or Egyptian exports – and as a result of the loss of Egyptian cotton because of its strategic importance, hence it was necessary to go to increase productivity, taking into account the preservation of the environment, rates and international specifications For export; By following the policy of adapting to the climate volatility of the advancement of productivity, especially with the limited individual capabilities and the lack of material support from policies.
