The police, who were investigating an attempt to kill two police officers in Terron Province in Northern Ireland, arrested a fourth person, after arresting three people earlier yesterday, Saturday.
The fourth -year -old, 38, was arrested in the Strabine region, today, according to the British Press Agency (BA Media).
Investigators from the terrorist incident investigations unit arrested, earlier, three men, 36, 36 and 28 years, under the terrorist law after a number of inspections in Strapban on Friday evening.
The two policemen were performing their duties on Thursday in the mountains of Jabal Carmal, when a bomb exploded on the side of their car, which prompted the police to follow a “strong investigation” in whether the new Irish Republican army was involved in that attack.
None of the policemen was injured in the attack, which caused a major security alert in the area, which affected more than a thousand people from the population and left some children unable to reach school on Friday..
