Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergei Marsenko confirmed to his British counterpart Jeremy Hunt, Kyiv’s need for additional funding for the state budget in 2023.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Finance said – according to what was reported by the Ukrainian “Yokrinform” news agency today, Saturday – that, during their meeting in London, the two sides discussed the current financial situation in Ukraine and the need for additional financing, as well as priority areas to cooperate to strengthen the partnership between the Ukraine and the government The United Kingdom, in addition to the other steps taken by the Ukraine government to increase revenues and reduce the state’s general budget deficit, such as issuing war bonds
