NATO accuses Russian fighters of “unsafe” maneuvers over his ships in the Baltic

The NATO leadership announced that “Russian warplanes have been undocuenally active by carrying out widows over the alliance’s ships, which were making maneuvers in the Baltic Sea. ”
According to a press release issued by the Alliance leadership, the accident occurred on the morning of November 17. The NATO leadership claimed that Russian fighters flew over NATO ships at an altitude of 300 feet (91 meters) and a distance of 80 yards (73 meters).

The statement said: “The alliance considers that this behavior is unsafe and is lacking in professional professionalism because it was done in a dangerous area that was used in air defense exercises, and also because of the height of the aircraft and their proximity to the ships participating in the training. ”
At the same time, the alliance’s maritime leadership stressed that “it does not seek confrontation and does not pose a threat to anyone.


It is noteworthy that the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed many times in such cases that all Russian war -aircraft checks are made in accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.
