Yemeni Army: The launch of an anti -ship Houthi missile with the help of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards

Yemeni army spokesman Abdo Majali said on Thursday that the Houthis conducted an experiment in the evening to launch an anti -ship missile, noting that the army has compelling evidence proving the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s involvement.
The September Net newspaper, which is close to the army, quoted Majali that the Houthi missile was fired from the capital, Sanaa, and fell west of Hodeidah.
The Yemeni army spokesman described the missile by the Houthis as a “terrorist operation.

The spokesman stated that “the Houthi threat is to undermine regional and international security, and the international community should bear responsibility for protecting international corridors and ensuring freedom of maritime navigation. ”
Last Tuesday, the US Navy announced that it had intercepted a huge Iranian shipment of explosive materials heading to Yemen last week in the international waters of the Gulf of Oman.

The Navy said in a statement posted on its Twitter account that it managed to seize 70 tons of missile fuel in a boat from Iran to the Yemeni beaches.
She also added that this smuggled fuel is sufficient for 10 ballistic missiles. She drew attention to finding more than 100 tons of explosive compost..
