The US Treasury announced the imposition of sanctions on 13 companies registered in different countries, which helped the Iranian oil sector overcome sanctions.
The ministry published on its official website on Thursday: “The US Treasury Department of Foreign Assets Office decided to impose sanctions on 13 companies from several countries, which facilitated sales of Iranian petrochemical and petroleum products with hundreds of millions of dollars for buyers in East Asia.
The statement added: “These companies worked on behalf of the Iranian petrochemical sales brokers included in the American ban, which is the Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company, the” Trillas “petrochemical company and the Iranian National Oil Company. ”
