The Russian team tied with its host Tajikistan without goals, in a friendly match that they gathered today, Thursday, in the Tajik capital, Dusnbeh.
The Tajikistan match is the second for Russia in the framework of a friendly Asian tour.
The Russian team returned to the international matches field on September 24 after two international stops without matches, and played a friendly confrontation against Kyrgyzstan and won 2-1.
Russia is scheduled to play another friendly confrontation next Sunday, and it will be against Uzbekistan in the capital, Tashkent.
It is noteworthy that last February, the European and International Football Associations prevented the participation of Russian teams and clubs in the championships of the two federations until further notice, against the backdrop of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
The Russian team was excluded from participating in the European supplement qualifying for the World Cup in Qatar and from the qualifying draw for the European Nations Cup 2024.
