Argentine Mauricio Pochettino hinted that he was open to the idea of the succession of Gareth Southgate as coach of the English national team, in the event of the latter’s departure from his post after the FIFA World Cup.

The Argentine coach, who spent a period as a coach of Paris Saint -Germain, had spent most of his training career in England for a period of nine years with Southampton and Tottenham, and also refused to exclude his assumption of the England national team.
