Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced that the missile launched by North Korea apparently fell into the sea inside the pure economic zone of Japan near the Northern island of Hokkaido, describing it as “absolutely unacceptable. ”
“The Balltalistic missile launched by North Korea seems to have fallen in our pure economic area, west of Hokkaido,” Kishida said, describing this missile launch as “absolutely unacceptable”, noting that there were no news of damage to any ships or aircraft.
Earlier in the week the South Korean army announced that North Korea launched a “unspecified ballistic missile”, in the latest launcher in an unprecedented wave, and just hours after Pyongyang’s warning of a “fiercely fierce” military response to the United States and its regional allies.
“North Korea launched an unspecified ballistic missile towards the Sea of the East,” the Chief of Staff of the South Korean Army said..
