The CEO of the Projects Development Authority in Egypt, Nevin Jameh, announced that an amount of 1. 2 billion pounds has been allocated to convert 150,000 gasoline cars to work with natural gas within three years.

The CEO of the Project Development Authority explained that the use of natural gas instead of traditional fuel leads to a significant reduction in emissions of air, which helps in preserving the environment and enhances the sustainability opportunities for these projects and contributes to preserving job opportunities for workers in the transport sector by increasing The targeted groups entered the achievement of an economic saving for drivers of up to 60 %.

Jameh added that the conditions of coal landing projects are legalized to work under the official sector and help their owners to work in an environmentally friendly manner through the use of units for governing accredited from the Ministry of Environment in addition to expanding the financing of projects of electricity generation plants from solar energy and work to expand the provision of pumps to irrigate agricultural lands that which Solar powers instead of relying on traditional hydrocarbons and diesel generators.
