Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the role of philosophical sciences in raising human awareness in human societies and forming their cultural identity, noting the directives of Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to adopt serious projects to enhance knowledge and thought and achieve maximum benefit from them.
This came during his attendance at the start of the work of the second session of the Fujairah International Conference on Philosophy, which is held under his auspices entitled “Philosophy and Bager”, and organized by the House of Philosophy in the Al -Bahr Hotel and Resort in Fujairah, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director General of the Electronic Government Department in Fujairah and Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Litanic Federation.
The Fujairah International Conference on Philosophy during its session from 17 to 20 November will discuss a variety of ideas and topics related to philosophy, discussion sessions and lectures that present their various aspects, and to measure their impact on the rise of societies and raise human awareness in them.
The organizing committee of the conference also announced that the Fujairah Glossary of Philosophy was launched during the event, which is the largest lexicon of philosophical terms and terms in the Arab world.
The opening of the conference was attended by Muhammad Saeed Al -Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Diwan in Fujairah, and Salem Al -Zahmi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and a group of Arab and foreign philosophers, interested and media from the state and abroad.
