On Wednesday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a series of meetings with French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albaniz, and Italy Prime Minister Giojia Miloni, on the sidelines of the G20 summit on the Indonesian island of Bali.

During the meeting with Macron, the two leaders reviewed continuous cooperation in various fields such as defense, trade and investment, and welcomed the deepening of cooperation in new economic fields.
Moody and Macron discussed regional and global issues of common concern, according to a statement published by the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its official website.

In his meeting with Sonak, Moody congratulated the British Prime Minister on the occasion of his assumption of office, and the two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the state of comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the United Kingdom and the progress made on the 2030 Road Map for future relations, as well as their appreciation of the importance of working together in bilateral and multilateral forums including The Group of Twenty and Commonwealth.

According to the Indian Foreign Ministry statement, discussions touched on important sectors of cooperation such as trade, movement, defense and security.
In Moody’s meeting with Albanz, the two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the excellent state of relations between the two countries within the framework of comprehensive strategic partnership and high -level interactions taking place on a regular basis between India and Australia.

Moody and Albaniz reviewed the progress made in deepening cooperation through a variety of sectors, including defense, trade, education and clean energy, and discussed in detail the institutional partnership in the field of education, especially in higher education, vocational education, training and capacity building.

The two leaders exchanged views on regional and global issues of common concern, which included their common vision of the Indian and Pacific region of stable and peaceful, and the climate related issues, and the presidency of India for the Group of Twenty next year.

During his meeting with Meloni, Moody congratulated the Italian Prime Minister on her election as the first woman to take over in Italy, and the two leaders discussed deepening bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, combating terrorism and relations between peoples.

Moody and Meloni also exchanged views on regional and global issues of common concern, and Modi said that he is looking forward to celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Italy and welcoming Meloni in India next year to attend the G20 summit..
