The exchange rates of the US dollar on the black market, against the Syrian pound, opened today, in the markets of the capital, Damascus, on a purchase price of 5350 pounds, compared to the sale price per dollar of 5300 pounds.
The Syrian Central Bank said that it reduced the local currency exchange rate to 2814 pounds per dollar, to approach the price on the black market, which reached 3900 to the dollar last April, while the official price was about 2,500 pounds per dollar.
Today, the euro exchange rate against the Syrian pound reached 5559 pounds for purchase, and 5502 pounds for sale, and the Saudi riyal exchange rate against the Syrian pound reached 1425 pounds to buy each riyals for 1409 pounds to sell each riyals. The exchange rate of the Egyptian pound was also reached against the Syrian pound.
To 219 pounds for purchase, and 214 for sale, the Kuwaiti dinar exchange rate against the Syrian lira today reached 17417 pounds for purchase, compared to 17229 pounds for sale.
On the other hand, the Emirati dirham exchange rate today against the Syrian pound reached 1457 pounds for purchase, compared to 1440 pounds for sale.
The price of the Turkish lira against the Syrian pound reached 287 pounds for purchase, while the sale price reached 283 pounds..
