The increase in the number of Tunisians delegated abroad is 51% within ten months

The numbers of Tunisians delegated to work abroad recorded an increase of 51% during the period from the beginning of January to the end of October of this year, compared to the same period last year 2021.

The Tunisian Agency for Technical Cooperation stated – in a statement today, Wednesday, that the health sector issues the list of assignments with 1021 doctors and nurses, equivalent to 34 percent of the total assignments, followed by the education sector with 755 delegates, then the engineering sector with 484 delegates and 343 delegates in the media sector.

The statement added that the Arab countries attracted 1223 delegates, or 41 percent of the total delegates, then the European countries with 1097 delegates, and the American and Asian countries with 515 delegates, the African countries with 102 delegates.

The statement indicated that Canada and France came in the first place of the total delegated countries of Tunisian competencies during this period, where 476 Tunisians were contracted in each of them in several sectors, including health, educational, service, media and communication fields, then Saudi Arabia, by contracting with 428 Tunisians, most of them in the field Health, educational and sports..
