The South Korean army announced that North Korea launched an “unspecified ballistic missile”, in the latest launcher in an unprecedented wave, and just hours after Pyongyang’s warning of a “fiercely fierce” military response to the United States and its regional allies.
“North Korea launched a non -specified ballistic missile towards the Sea of the East,” the Chief of Staff of the South Korean army said, which is also called the Sea of Japan.
On the ninth of this month, North Korea launched at least one ballistic missile, according to what the South Korean army announced in the latest experiment by Pyongyang after the launch of a record number of missiles earlier this month.
The South Korean army said it “monitored a short -range ballistic missile launched by North Korea (towards) the eastern sea (also known as the Sea of Japan) from Sokchon in the South Pyongan province.
“By strengthening monitoring and vigilance, the South Korean army maintains its complete readiness while it is closely cooperating with the United States,” she added..
