In the beginning of last March, gas contracts recorded historical levels several times due to fears of a ban on the import of Russian energy resources, and the contracts on March 7 rose to the level of $ 3892 per thousand cubic meters.
In the April period of this year, gas prices fell, but it returned to rise again in the summer, and in August 2022 futures exceeded the level of $ 2450. In the fall, prices began to decline.

In October 2022, prices fell to $ 1377, and analysts attributed this to the high level of occupancy of gas storage facilities in Europe and the low demand for “blue fuel” due to the policy of legalizing energy consumption and warm weather.
