Norwegian striker Earlening Halland talked about the candidate teams to win the 2022 World Cup title, explaining that he will get a short vacation, before returning to Manchester City’s training.
Halland has been absent from participating in the World Cup, in light of the failure of the Norway team to qualify for the World Cup, since the 1998 edition.
Erling Halland, in comments published by the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, indicated that he was hoping to participate in the World Cup, adding that the English national team is a candidate, along with Argentina, Brazil and France, to win the title in the World Cup in Qatar.
“I was hoping to participate in the World Cup . . . but the reality is that Norway did not qualify,” Halland said.
He added about the short vacation he obtained: “I will relax physically and mentally and then I will train . . . I think things are going well in Manchester City, so I do not need to make a lot of changes or take more exercises. ”
He continued: “I hope to play with Norway in the World Cup or European nations . . . I think this is the biggest thing we can reach. ”
