US President Joe Biden rejected the assurances of his Ukrainian counterpart, Voludeimir Zellinski, that Russia fired a missile in Poland, continuing the efforts of the United States and its allies to reduce the escalation of the accident that caused deaths.
“Bloomberg” news agency said that upon his return to the White House after participating in the summit of the G20 countries on the Indonesian island of Bali, Biden was asked early Thursday morning that Zellinski denied that the Ukrainian air defenses launched the missile.

Polish President André Doda described the deaths as a result of the missile as a “unfortunate accident”, and that it occurred as a result of the Ukrainian air defense procedures.
