Barcelona plans to resume against the Spanish Football Association’s decision, to stop its Polish star Robert Lewandowski.
Lewandowski was punished for 3 games, after he was expelled during the Catalan team’s meeting with its host Osasuna, in the Spanish League Championship.
Lewandowski won two warnings in the first half of the match, which ended with Barcelona 2/1 winning at the (El Sadar) stadium, last Tuesday, where the guest team scored two goals through Bidri and Ravinia, to turn its delay zero / 1 and get the three points.
The Spanish Football Association decided to stop Lewandowski for 3 games after contempt for the match referee after the red card was declared in the face.
The suspension of Lewandowski means Barcelona missing the services of the Spanish league’s top scorer this season with 13 goals, during the meetings of Espanyol, Atletico Madrid and Real Betis, which will take place after the World Cup in Qatar, but the Catalan club will try to reduce the punishment.
