Bali .. Erdogan meets Biden on the sidelines of the G20 summit

Al-Madinah News:- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met on Tuesday, his American counterpart, Joe Biden, on the sidelines of the G20 summit held on the Indonesian island of Bali.
Anatolia correspondent reported that Erdogan and Biden’s meeting took place away from the lenses of journalists.
The meeting was attended by foreign ministers, Mevlüt Çavuşo و lu, the treasury and finance, Noureddine Noubi, and the defense of Khulusi Akar.

Earlier on Tuesday, Indonesian President Goku Widodo opened the work of the G20 summit that will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday.
And “Group of Twenty” is a forum established in 1999 to face financial crises, and it represents two -thirds of the world’s trade volume.
The group includes: China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea and Saudi Arabia from Asia, South Africa from Africa, Argentina and Brazil from South America, the United States of America, Canada and Mexico from North America.

It also includes Britain, France, Italy, Germany and the European Union from Europe, in addition to Russia, Turkey, and Australia.
Erdogan for Macron: Europe must carry out its duty to continue the grain agreement
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed the need for the European Union to do what it is on his shoulders in order to continue the agreement to ship Ukrainian grains.

This came during his meeting with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the Group of Group’s leaders in the Indonesian island of Bali, according to a statement issued by the Turkish Presidency Communication Department.
Macron offered the Turkish President his condolences to the victims of the terrorist bombing on Istanbul Street in Istanbul, according to the statement.

The statement stated that during the meeting, the two presidents dealt with bilateral and regional issues.
Erdogan stressed that the development of cooperation between the two countries in the trade, defense and energy sectors is due to the common benefit on both sides.
He pointed out that the grain corridor began to work again after the efforts of in this regard, stressing the need for the European Union to make it upon itself in order to continue the agreement.

The Turkish president also stressed the need to encourage Greece to a honest and meaningful dialogue.
On July 22, Istanbul witnessed the signing of the “Document of the Safe Shipping initiative for grains and foodstuffs from Ukrainian ports”, between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the United Nations.

The agreement included securing grain exports in the Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea (eastern Europe) to the world, to address the global food shortage crisis that threatens a humanitarian catastrophe.
