Amnesty International: Iran uses the execution tool “political repression”

Al-Madinah News:- Amnesty International announced today, Wednesday, that it is investigating death sentences and death penalty cases in Iran.
The organization added in a statement on Twitter that the escalation by Iran in this regard represents an “additional evidence” of the authorities’ use of the death penalty as a “political suppression” tool.

While the Iranian authorities called for the abolition of all death sentences immediately and to drop the charges associated with the peaceful practice of human rights.
The organization also called on the United Nations Human Rights Council to move urgently to end what it described as “systematic impunity” in Iran, noting that a “very large” number of people were killed in Iran because of their practice of human rights.

Earlier this month, Iranian media reported that the death sentence was executed against two people who condemned charges, including “destabilizing security” and killing members of the border guards in Zuhdan in Sistan and Baluchistan in the southeast of the country.
