The Qatar News Agency reported, through its official website, announced a sports partnership for better health that includes the Ministry of Public Health, the Higher Committee for Projects and Legacy, and the International Football Association “FIFA”, and the World Health Organization, implementing tobacco and smoking prevention measures in the World Cup Qatar 2022 to be the tournament to be the tournament Healthy and safe.

“FIFA policy on tobacco is in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization on huge sporting events, which aim to protect people’s right to inhale pure air that is not contaminated with carcinogens, and other harmful substances,” the agency said.
The 2022 World Cup is scheduled to start with the opening match to a gathering between the Qatari team and its Ecuadorian counterpart on Sunday, November 20, at the “Al -Bayt” stadium.
