Videos circulated the first moments of the Istanbul’s bloody explosion, which killed many dead and wounded, according to the Arab correspondent and local Turkish media.
The big explosion occurred today, Sunday, on the famous Istiklal Street, which branches from Taksim Square in the center of Istanbul, Turkey.
The explosion occurred after 16:00 local time at a time when the passer -by mobilization was thick in Istiklal Street.
Istanbul governor confirmed on Twitter that the explosion left several deaths and injuries. According to Turkish media, the explosion left at least 17 injured.
Footage shots, firefighters and police showed at the scene.
The Turkish police evacuated the Taksim area in Istanbul in anticipation of another explosion. Social media users have said that the stores were closed and the street was closed. Turkish media also spoke of an intense security spread in the Taksim area.
