The well-known American author Elizabeth Colbert published the book “Under a White Cool: The Nature of the Future” in the past year 2021. The book covers many of the same subjects that I covered in “The Sixth Endurance: An Abnormal History,” such as protecting the environment and combating climate change.
In the Under a White Sky book, Elizabeth Colbert took a closer look at the new world that we create as she met biologists working to preserve the rarest fish in the world, which only lives in one small pool in the middle of Mojave; engineers working to turn carbon emissions into stone in Iceland; Australian researchers trying to develop “super coral” that can survive in a more hot environment; and physicists thinking about launching tiny diamonds into the stratosphere to coax the sun.
According to Kolbert, one way to view human civilization is as a civilization that has endured a 10,000-year struggle with nature.
In her previous book, “The Sixth Endowment”, the ways that humans took to formulate mechanisms to destroy the formation of the natural world and in her book under a white sky were explored how increasing the different types of interventions that put our planet at risk as the only hope to save the earth.
