The Story Club announced the resumption of its annual competition in the field of the manuscript novel “Kamal Rahim course” and the short story, after a three -year hiatus.
The club specified the conditions for subscribing to the competition, namely:
The manuscript novel
Not less than 70 pages.
short story
Not less than 600 words.
Written works are presented on the computer.
The contestant should not have won the first place in one of the club’s awards in the last five years.
It is not permissible to apply for the competition by the club members.
The work is accompanied by a brief CV of the contestant.
It is not permissible to apply to more than one branch of the competition.
Mohamed Al -Qasabi, the club’s general secretary, said that the result of the competition will be announced at the end of next February.
Story Club competition awards
As for the prizes, the first winner in the manuscript novel competition will receive 4000 pounds and the second 2000 pounds, while the third will receive 1000 pounds.
In the field of short story, the first winner gets 1500 pounds, the second 1200 pounds, the third is 1000 pounds, the fourth 800 pounds, and the fifth 500 pounds.
The winning short stories will be published in the story magazine, and the Literature Newspaper.
The club set the subscription fee in the novel competition 100 pounds and the short story competition is 50 pounds.
The candidate work at the club’s headquarters is presented on the 16th of Tablawi Street, branching from Faisal Al -Taawun Street until the end of next December..
