Dr. Nevin Al -Kilani, Minister of Culture, received at her office at the Supreme Council of Culture, Representative Tariq Radwan, member of the House of Representatives, and Chairman of the Human Rights Committee, to discuss a number of issues related to the implementation of the state’s human rights strategy.
During the meeting, the mechanisms for establishing the Human Rights Unit were discussed at the Ministry of Culture, in implementation of the Prime Minister’s decision issued in 2017, in order to activate the fourth axis in the human rights strategy, which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi in 2021.
The meeting also discussed the importance of developing a package of legislation necessary to implement the needs of the ministry, regarding the activation of the fourth axis with the human rights strategy referred to.
Since days, Dr. Nevin Al -Kilani, Minister of Culture, Jordan Princess, Reem Ali, head of the “Anna Lind” Foundation, met on the sidelines of the COP27 climate in Sharm El -Sheikh, to discuss ways of cooperation, and a number of projects of common concern.
At the beginning of the meeting, the princess shed light on the activities of the “Anna Linda” Foundation, the projects and initiatives carried out by the Foundation during the last period, especially with regard to the culture of women, and the spread of values of accepting the other.
For her part, the Minister of Culture expressed her welcome to the initiatives of the “Anna Lindle” Foundation, expressing her admiration for what the Foundation is doing, noting that the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Foundation, through the cultural field, as well as exchanging experiences in work, and establishing mutual cultural projects and initiatives..
